Our network of integrated facilities and programs work together for the benefit of our patients, communities, physicians, researchers, staff and learners in the areas of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care. As the tertiary care referral centre for the entire Northeastern Ontario region, HSN serves a catchment population of over 600,000.

Candidates must have specialty certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) and be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
