The Directors of the Sleep Disorders Clinic are looking for a dynamic experienced manager to run a large busy, multi-centred sleep clinic, with three locations west of Toronto. The candidate should have at least five years of experience running a sleep laboratory and medical clinic, preferably one that has more than one location. Knowledge of Alice sleep systems will be a definite advantage.

Qualifications: a health related degree in addition to registration as a sleep technologist is essential.

The qualified individual will be well connected in the sleep industry with extensive knowledge of up to date AASM criteria, government and CPSO regulations related to sleep, and will have experience leading and motivating staff. He or she will be knowledgeable in all aspects of sleep and will have ideas and interests in research, prior publications/ knowledge of research protocols will be a decided advantage. Human resources management, inventory control and budgeting experience are expectations of the job.

The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and disseminating knowledge related to sleep medicine, and someone who has been recognized as being a leader in prior roles in their career. He or she will have a history of successfully managing people in a highly technological environment incorporating the challenges of integrating staff in a 24 hour, multi-site operation. Previous responsibility for quality assurance standards in a sleep laboratory is essential as are excellent knowledge of all current computer systems (MS, Citrix, EMR based medical practice, sleep software preferably Alice).

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist required for a busy hospital based independent sleep clinic in Cambridge Ontario.

Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
  • 3 years professional experience in the sleep field
  • Post-secondary education with a health science degree or allied health diploma is a necessity
  • Prior clinical practice required
  • Excellent knowledge of sleep and cardio-respiratory systems
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficient at troubleshooting procedures
  • Detail orientated
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of guidelines for performing sleep studies

We are looking for a qualified sleep doctor for a very busy sleep clinic in Southern Ontario / Niagara Falls area.

2-3 days per week of clinic time, 6 bedded clinic. Applicant must be sleep trained/ board certified in sleep medicine. Qualified applicant would work with a highly skilled PA, high volume of patients, excellent QA by highly regarded sleep physician. Reasonable split offered as well as opportunity to interpret sleep studies.
