The Sleep Medicine journal will be publishing a series of special issues focused on “Pediatric Sleep Around The World”.  The special issues will be published once a year with a focus on pediatric sleep research and clinical work in specific countries.  This issue will focus on CANADA, the host of the 2019 World Sleep Congress meeting. This meeting is a joint congress of World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM) and World Sleep Federation (WSF) and Canadian Sleep Society.

Sleeping Children Around the World www.scaw.org leads a 100% charitable global community of volunteers & partners who have transformed the lives of over 1.5 million children in developing countries by providing bedkits for a good night’s sleep. Donations to Sleeping Children Around the World are used to supply children with a bedkit that consists of a mat or mattress, pillow, sheet, blanket, mosquito net, clothes outfit, towel and school supplies. Bedkit contents vary from country to country depending upon local needs.
